These are more photos from Waterton. I find the Solitary Tree especially nostalgic and yet so out of place.

Over the past week I have added several links on my sidebar. They range from forums to resources. Feel free to check them out.

As well I have checked out gimpshop. Although I find it a very powerful program, it is a little cumbersome to use. However the bright side is that it is free. The main problem that I found with it was the lack of support and articles describing how that it works. However, I have added those that I found to the links in my sidebar. A website that seems to find these articles and summarize them is http://gimpshop.net

Fluffy Storm Clouds

This is the first picture on my blog that I have altered to see what the impact is. I have posted a photograph of some storm clouds that I took, compared to picture once I had altered the colour impacts slightly. I think that the difference is huge.



I have also tried to do this with landscape photos but I cannot get the same impact. However, I will continue to look for some website the describes what to do with the green shades.

Photoshop - It is a program

Although I have never used Photoshop before, when I tried the trial version I was amazed with what it could do. As a result I have found some links for others that may want to try to fix up their photographs.

Has anyone else tried other programs out there that are cheaper/work better? Feel free to leave a comment letting me know where they are so that I can check them out.

Mountain Valley

Once again I return to my mountain photos. There is something about the mountains that seems to attract me. Whether it is in real, or in a picture I always seem to find it appealing.

Anyway, I hope that you enjoy.

South West Storm.

Another Photograph of a storm coming in from the south west.

From now on I hope to post about once a week. This way you will know when to expect new pictures.

I will also post photos from other people if they are quality photographs of Alberta scenery. You can email these photos to me at evk@la.shockware.com.
